No more heroes be careful who you idolize We're all full of shit and all full of lies we're all zeroes no matter what we say and just like you we do bad things everyday I'm not superhuman, just an average guy who can't cope very well, so I get super high till all my shit is broken and all my friends are dead I'll find the truth one day or put a bullet in my head There's one thing that I can ask is knowing the truth worth digging through the trash you can spend your life in ignorance but you and I both know that it's a death sentence Another banjo lady a brand new bad habit one more dirty girl and the scabs she picks another staph infection go eat some raw garlic at least one good decision so I won't die from it There's one thing that I don't know is knowing the truth worth it anymore you can spend your life in ignorance but you and I both know that it's a death sentence

Does it make you who you are to fill your lungs with tar cus every day you're smoking squares and every week you dye your hair was it blue or was it black should you really be smoking crack to impress your friends oh take me back before this song ends so that we can try again quit snorting meth and sing this song instead so don't do crack take your life back and I'm not wrong you should probably call your mom is it heroes or just heroin that bump our lives off track again another pack of cigarettes to replace the food you can't digest are these your keys(yes) is that my coke(yes) well your weak knees match my lack of hope that you're ever going to do anything because while you were shoving needles in your arm and sewing patches onto your clothes I as trying to figure out the difference between alcoholism and activism and while you claim to be free you're really just slaves to the operating hours of the nearest liquor store so things wont change they'll just stay the same well there's no way is my life just a game don't cut in line cus I'm still sober I'll feel fine when this song is over Don't give a fuck about my bad luck am I on drugs I probably need a hug

California, no doubt about it could've gone my whole life without it California isn't full of hippies it hasn't been since the 1960's and every time that I think of the west coast I think of you and every time that they say it is the best coast I know it can't be true So California, I won't be missing you way up on Haight St down to Valley View San Francisco, that Family and their Dogs foaming at the mouth and being thugs every time that I think of California I know I wont go back tried to make it out of Quartzsite, Arizona but that plan didn't last Because we just ended up going back to San Francisco California, I'm 50 years too late sink into the ocean I think that'd be great

Up & Away 02:30
Up, down, left, right, life's got you wound up pretty tight you swear you're gonna lose your mind there seems to be no end in sight one, two, three, four, you cannot take it anymore so take a breath and clear your mind stop and think you just might find good things come and good things go what they could be we'll never know because times are good and times are bad maybe our lives just ain't that bad five, six, seven, eight, tell me what you really hate it's only gonna weigh you down I'd really hate to see you frown bounce, scream, jump, shout it's time to finally get it out let it go and say good bye it's nothing we can't do without good things come and good things go what they could be we'll never know because times are good and times are bad maybe our lives just ain't that bad run down, knocked out life's not all about drop in, drop out life goes on with out run down, knocked out life's not all about drop in, drop out life goes on without You

Window Panes 02:39
If today was your last day on earth what would you regret? would anything you're worried about right now really matter? get a job, go back to school, start a family is this what runs through our heads? as our hearts give out, as our minds explode into color and paint the wall of existence? if you wouldn't think of it then, why think of it now? in those final moments I know I won't. What about all the unfinished romances & half written songs how many times did you mean to say I love you instead of starting a fight you knew you couldn't finish? how hard have we all tried to make up for it? I know I did. because there's something the way you move like a mote of dust in a spotlight altering perception as it comes there's something in the way I walk like a blind man through the night guided by the light of a clouded understanding stumbling past the rays of light I'll know you without ever seeing I'll love you without ever knowing why so, if this is my last day on earth I don't regret that I want to spend it with you
